The Kangso Mineral Water Production Plant, located in the Kangso District of Nampo City in the Democratic People’s Republic of Korea, is a modern production facility renowned for both its production capacity and quality. This factory, which plays a vital role in promoting public health, is a testament to the dedicated efforts of the Respected Comrade Kim Jong Un for the benefit of the people.
During a visit to the factory in June 2017 (Juche 106), Kim Jong Un emphasized the importance of maintaining a high level of production, highlighting it as a crucial task that showcases the advantages of the socialist system, where all societal wealth is devoted to enhancing the welfare of the population. He noted that there are numerous mineral and hot spring sources across the country, suggesting they should be well-utilized to positively contribute to public health.
He underscored the factory’s significant role in safeguarding and promoting public health, outlining tasks for the factory, including increasing mineral water production, improving quality, and maintaining a sanitary and culturally rich environment for producing the water that people consume.
Aligned with Kim Jong Un’s intentions for the people to enjoy long lives in good health, reaping all the benefits of socialism, the factory officials and workers have boosted the production of mineral water. In a vigorous campaign to improve water quality and ensure the sterility and cleanliness of production lines, Kangso mineral water was registered as a “2 February Product,” and the glass-bottled mineral water production line received food safety management system certification.
These achievements reaffirm the critical role of the Kangso Mineral Water Production Plant in promoting public health and demonstrating the advantages of Korea’s socialist system.
