On Thursday, a joint meeting of the Korean Children’s Union organisations took place in Pyongyang to mark the 78th anniversary of its establishment.

The meeting was attended by representatives of organisations celebrating the 78th birthday of the Korean Youth Union and students from Pyongyang.

Kim Su Gil, Secretary of the Pyongyang Municipal Party Committee of the Workers’ Party of Korea, Ri Tu Song, Director of the Central Committee of the WPK, Kim Sung Du, Minister of Education, and representatives of the youth league were also present at the invitation.

The speech was delivered by Mun Chol, Chairman of the Central Committee of the Socialist Patriotic Youth League.

In his speech, Mun Chol emphasized that the joint meeting is an important opportunity to showcase the unwavering spirit of the members of the Korean Youth Union, who, under the care of Dear Respected Marshal Kim Jong Un, are realizing their beautiful dreams and hopes.

He pointed out that Kim Jong Un surrounds the younger generations with love and care, raising them to be worthy successors of the revolution, despite numerous difficulties and adversities.

He added that students in the DPRK are resolutely preparing for the role of young revolutionaries and patriots, respecting Kim Jong Un, who prioritizes pro-family policies above all and spares no resources for the young generation.

Mun Chol called on all members of the Korean Youth Union to prepare for the role of sons and daughters of the socialist homeland, remembering that their happiness and bright future are inseparably linked with the love of the Dear Respected Marshal.

After Mun Chol’s speech, other participants of the meeting took the floor.

In their speeches, the speakers expressed determination to remain faithful to Kim Jong Un and become exemplary members of the Korean Youth Union.
