The Mangyongdae Revolutionary School hosted the participants of the 2024 Revolutionary Schools Sports Competition from 17th to 23rd June.
Over a thousand young athletes, representing the Mangyongdae, Kang Pan Sok, Nampho, and Saenal Revolutionary Schools, competed in numerous sports and recreational events. The participants were divided into four teams, named after famous Korean mountains: Myohyangsan, Kumgangsan, Kuwolsan, and Chilbosan.
In the stands, alongside their schoolmates, there were also representatives of party and military authorities, including the Central Committee of the Workers’ Party of Korea.
After intense competition, the overall victory was claimed by the boys from the Mangyongdae Revolutionary School and the girls from the Kang Pan Sok Revolutionary School. The winners were presented with commemorative prizes and distinctions.
The Revolutionary Schools Sports Competition was not only an opportunity for sporting rivalry but also a chance to showcase the spirit and perseverance of the young Korean generation. As emphasized during the closing ceremony, the youth trained in the revolutionary spirit represent the strength and future of the nation, continuing the work of the Juche revolution.
